Unfortunately, an expensive music camp is a bit out of reach for her family, but her mother gets a job as Camp Rock's cook so that Mitchie can attend as long as she helps out in the kitchen between classes. Befriended by fellow camp member Caitlyn (Alyson Stoner) but intimidated by the immensely talented Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) and her friends Peggy (Jasmine Richards) and Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle), Mitchie lives a double life hiding that she is the cook's daughter and posing as a well-to-do camper in order to become part of the hottest clique at camp. When she's overheard singing, but not seen, by teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor, plus lead singer of Connect Three, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), he is completely taken and sets out to find the girl behind the beautiful voice. Meanwhile, Mitchie will have to learn how to confront her fears, step out of the kitchen and into the spotlight as her true self. My idea of the movie (of what i know and it has mor info) Camp rock is about a girl who wants to go to an amazing camp called Camp Rock. But the camp is out of the family's money range. So her mom gets a job as a cook so Mitchie Torrez(demi lovato) can attend her dream camp. While Shane Gray(joe jonas), lead singer of his band (Connect 3) with his band mates, Nate (Nick Jonas) and his other band member, Jason(Kevin Jonas)is dropped off at camp so Shane can get his attitude problem can settle down. While Mitchie meets her new friend Caitlyn (Alyson Stoner)who is a producer. And get intimitated by the Diva girl, Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) and her friends Peggy (Jasmine Richards) and Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle), Mitchie lies and pretends to be a rich girl who can afford this camp. She lives a double life, a girl who works in the camp kitchen, and a girl who is happy camper. Mitchie and Shane soon meet and Mitchie gives Shane an attitude adjustment (Shane not knowing that it's Mitchie). Then when Mitchie's secret gets out that she works in the camp's kitchen, she is soon banned from most camp activites. When Shane is getting chased by a lot of screaming girl fans, he soon trips into some nearby bushes and hides. As the screaming girls run by, he over hears a girl singing and playing the piano. Shane then goes inside to find out who was singing. but the girl has left.He then soons sets out to find the girl who was behind the song. Mitchie then needs to come out of her shell and show the real her
